FAQS
How long will my colour last for?
Colour on average will last between 4-6 weeks dependent on what colour service has been preformed. We use globally renowned Goldwell because of its conditioning and high performance system.
When will my regrowth start showing?
Regrowth is dependent on each individual, but you will see a tiniest regrowth anywhere from 2 weeks. On average 6- 8 weeks is when there is a substantial amount of regrowth to work with. We recommend for you to book in every 6 weeks to keep your colour fresh and regrowth free.
How do I get my colour to last longer?
The best way to get longer from your colour is to ensure you marry up your colour with colour cleansing products that protect your colour. We also have products that can be customised to maintain and add colour at home. Otherwise we suggest coming into the salon for express toning service in between appointments.
I want a SUPER fun colour like bright red or a soft pastel pink …do you do this?
These types of colours are called fashion colours, depending on how permanent or non-permanent. We stock a range of salon only colours that can be made to any colour tone you desire. It is always suggested that you contact Hairphase for a consultation to discuss your options.
What’s the differences between Permanent and Semi?
Semi-permanent colours aren’t a long-term commitment, it wears off in just about three weeks because it doesn't contain any chemicals, it adds glossiness and shine. Permanent colours are long lasting and is 100% grey coverage.
Semi permanent or commonly known as semi’s can also be used as a toner or to add gloss and have a longevity of roughly 4 weeks, colour does rinse out slowly over time as you shampoo hair as this type of colour does not penetrate fully into the centre of the hair cuticle. Using high quality salon approved products will also help with longevity.
Can I colour my hair?
With the kerasilk systems , all colour services to be applied after the treatment. However we recommend all high lift highlight services to be done prior to the treatment. We recommend 1 week space between treatment for best results.
Why do I need a treatment after my colour service?
We highly recommend using a post colour treatment, It has many benefits such as longevity by locking in your colour for 22 washes, adds shine, nutrients and conditions.
